A MESSY PLAYROOM TURNED INTO AN ORGANISED ONE
The playroom in this house was so messy that it was just a dumping ground the kids didn’t play in anymore because there was no space on the floor. The problem was that nothing had really been organised to help enable easy tidying up after playtimes for the little ones. So Q. asked me if I could help her to make this room a playroom again and create a storage system which could easily be maintained on an everyday basis (even by her young 3 and 6 years old kids).
We started by applying the basic first rule of any organisational project: Sorting. Then we grouped like with like items. We bought some light and coloured storage furniture from IKEA and I printed bespoke labels with drawings instead of writing on to help the youngest one (who still doesn’t know how to read) know where to put toys back after having played with them.
Cleaning up is now fast and easy!
